Shipping Options

Please ensure your PO Box number is included in your shipping address if applicable, as Canada Post requires it for successful delivery.

Canada Post Lettermail Shipping

  • $5 Flat Rate Lettermail Shipping (Available for small orders under 100 grams. The flat rate includes postage and handling.) 
  • Free Lettermail Shipping orders over $30 (before tax). (Available for orders under 100 grams.)

Please note: Lettermail shipping does not include tracking, and we are unable to provide delivery status updates once your order has shipped. Our lettermail flat rate includes postage and handling to ensure your order is carefully packed and shipped securely.

Canada Post Expedited Parcel Shipping (Tracked)

  • $5 Flat Rate Expedited Parcel for orders over $100 (before tax).
  • Free Expedited Parcel Shipping for orders over $175 (before tax).
  • Expedited Parcel Shipping, rates automatically calculated at checkout.

All expedited parcel shipments include tracking and delivery updates from Canada Post.

Purolator Parcel Shipping

For customers who prefer an alternative carrier, Purolator shipping is also available. Rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on your order’s size, weight, and destination. Note that Purolator cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. Tracking included. 

Expected Delivery Times

Please be aware that Canada Post is currently not guaranteeing specific delivery dates, and delays may occur, particularly during busy periods or due to unforeseen circumstances. If you have selected expedited shipping, you will receive a tracking number to check the delivery progress of your order.

During low order volume seasons, we may drop off your orders to the post office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, rather than our usual daily fulfillment. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

How Shipping Options Are Determined

Shipping options and rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on your order value (before tax) and total package weight. Only the options applicable to your order will be displayed.

 

Shipping- General Information

For your convenience shipping total will be calculated for you prior to checkout and you can choose through the following shipping options through Canada Post.

1- Snail Mail- Canada Post Lettermail. This option is economical but slow. Your package will arrive in your mailbox, generally in 7-14 days time. Shipments are not trackable and not insured. This option is only available for small orders that weight 100 g or less. If the order is too thick or heavy, the system will not allow for the lettermail option (for example orders with large seeded varieties like beans, corn and peas).

2- Canada Post Expedited Parcel Service- shipments are trackable and arrive in 3-5 business days. 

3- Canada Post Xpress Post- shipments are trackable and arrive in 1-3 business days. Pricing generally ranges from $10 and up, depending on your location and weight of your package.

4- Canada Post Priority- shipments are trackable and arrive in 1-3 business days. Pricing generally ranges from $20 and up, depending on your location and weight of your package.

5 - Purolator Ground - shipments are trackable and arrive in 2-5 business days. Pricing ranges from $10 and up, depending on your location and the weight of your package. 

 

OUR GUARANTEE AND RETURN POLICY

We guarantee your satisfaction. We also guarantee that our seed is non-GMO, untreated, chemical free and of top quality. Your acceptance of our guarantee acknowledges that growing results will vary according to weather, site and of course seedling care. Please follow the germination and growing instructions for each variety carefully and reach out to our knowledgeable team if you have any questions. Although every precaution is taken, errors in prices and/or specifications may occur on our website and printed catalogues. We reserve the right to change prices without notice. Colours may not be exactly as show in photos. 

REFUNDS

If you are shipped the wrong item, the item or packaging is damaged or the item is spoiled, we will offer a full refund within 60 days of your order. Refunds are limited to the purchase price of the item in question.

RETURNS

If you have followed our germination and growing instructions and feel that the product did not perform to your satisfaction, we will replace it free of charge within 60 days of your purchase date and upon providing proof of purchase.
