Bumble bees, honey bees, sweat bees, carpenter bees- OH MY! This full to part- sun collection includes 5 wildflower varieties that provide an important pollen and nectar source for bees. The collection is curated with species that have floral colors, shapes and scents that are loved by bees.
Note: Blue Wild Indigo, Canada Tick Trefoil, Lanceleaf Coreopsis and Oxeye Sunflower require moist stratification. See instructions below.
Cold, moist stratification required. Mix seeds with moist substrate (vermiculite, perlite or moss) and place in a plastic bag and refrigerate for 6-8 weeks. Sow seed at 1/8 inch depth. Do not let seedling dry out while it is establishing.
Sow directly outdoors in late fall to overwinter.
