Scarlet Beebalm (Monarda didyma) is prized for its vibrant red, tubular flowers that are loved by hummingbirds and butterflies. This plant provides long-lasting colour and pleasant fragrance to the garden. It's also deer and rabbit resistant.
Growing Instructions:
Seeds benefit from wet and cold stratification, but it is not strictly required. Mix seeds with moist substrate (vermiculite, perlite or moss) and place in a plastic bag and refrigerate for 6-8 weeks. Sow seed at 1/8 inch depth. Do not let seedling dry out while it is establishing.
