A must have for moist sites. It has a long bloom period, with intensely aromatic flowers that are of high value to pollinators. It is the host plant to a number of butterflies and moths including Lined Ruby Tiger Moth, Burdock Borer Moth, Three-lined Flower Moth, Blackberry Looper, Geometrid Moth and Clymene Moth.
