Thyme’s tiny, green leaves grow on woody stems. They are one of the most versatile herbs to use when cooking, as they can be used to season any meat or vegetable! It gives any dish an earthy, minty, and slightly lemony flavor. These plants grow 6-12" tall with a sprawling habit and are perennial in zones 5-8.

Growing Instructions

Sow seeds indoors on surface of soil 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant outdoors 6-12” apart after danger of frost has passed. Germination period is 10-20 days. After first year, cut plants back each spring to renew them and keep them tidy. Plants prefer well-drained dry soil in full sun or partial shade.
