Approx. 50 seeds per pack
Also known as the Lemon or Garden Lemon cucumber, this is a highly productive variety that is a popular market cucumber in Australia. It is a rust and drought-resistant plant that produces fruits that appear lemon-like when ripe and contain a slightly citrusy flavor. The fruit is easy to digest and perfect for pickling and eating fresh. They start producing a little later than other cucumbers but keep producing after everything else has quit.
Direct seed: Sow seeds outdoors at 1" depth, in 12" diameter hills after the last frost when soil is warm. Space hills 6' apart in all directions. 3-4 plants per hill.
Transplant (recommended for shorter growing seasons): Start indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost for an earlier harvest. Harden off. Transplant in rows 16-18" apart, 18-24" between rows, or use hilling method above.
Performs especially well in hot climates and benefits from consistent moisture. Provide support for vines to save space.
