Vines can grow 5-7 feet
Approx. 25 seeds per pack
Also known as Snow’s Pickle, this was once known as a very popular small pickle. This dark green cucumber has thin skin and is short, slender and grows 5” long with a width of 1 1/2". It has a sweet crunch that tastes great on its own or in salads. Vines produce nice yields. Remember to harvest frequently to encourage more fruit production throughout the season.
Direct seed: Sow seeds outdoors at 1" depth, in 12" diameter hills after the last frost when soil is warm. Space hills 6' apart in all directions. 3-4 plants per hill.
Transplant (recommended for shorter growing seasons): Start indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost for an earlier harvest. Harden off. Transplant in rows 16-18" apart, 18-24" between rows, or use hilling method above.
Performs especially well in hot climates and benefits from consistent moisture. Provide support for vines to save space.
