A cucumber variety shaped like an apple when mature. It contains a tender and creamy flesh encased by a crunchy light green and yellow skin. These cucumbers are at their peak at about 3" in diameter and the plants are very prolific, producing a surprising number of these tasty little fruits. Great for market or home gardeners!
Growing Instructions
Direct seed: Sow seeds outdoors at 1" depth, in 12" diameter hills after the last frost when soil is warm. Space hills 6' apart in all directions. 3-4 plants per hill.
Transplant (recommended for shorter growing seasons): Start indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost for an earlier harvest. Harden off. Transplant in rows 16-18" apart, 18-24" between rows, or use hilling method above.
Performs especially well in hot climates and benefits from consistent moisture. Provide support for vines to save space.
