Bush bean. Dry or shell bean. Originally from Chile or Argentina, Tiger’s Eye Beans, also known as "pepa de zapallo," contain a wonderfully rich flavor and smooth texture. Their tender skins almost disappear when cooked, leaving a creamy and smooth texture perfect for soups, refried beans, chili, or any other bean dish. Productive plant.

Growing Instructions

Sow seeds outdoors after danger of frost has passed and soil and air temperatures have warmed. Plant seeds 2” apart at 1” depth in rows 36-48” apart in full sun. Harvest snap beans frequently for increased yields. Leave some pods on the vine and harvest when completely mature for dry beans.
