Often referred to as “coral broccoli”, this variety has a fascinating lime green head that forms a complex collection of intricately spiraled curds. These florets have a highly refined taste and texture, perfect for steaming or roasting. Originating, widely grown, and prized in Italy, it still grows exceptionally well in cool northern areas of the country.
Growing Instructions
Sow seed indoors ¼" deep 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Harden off. Plant out just before last frost. Plant 24” apart outdoors, making sure the cauliflower has a steady supply of water in full sunlight. This brassica prefers cool temperatures. In many regions it can be grown as both a spring and fall crop.
