This cauliflower variety grows upright, vigorous leaves that curl over and “self-wrap” the 6-7” pure white heads. This curling action only occurs in cool weather, so this variety is perfect for fall harvest. The heads are smooth, crunchy, and delicious either raw, cooked, roasted, or pickled.
Growing Instructions
Sow seed indoors ¼" deep 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Harden off. Plant out just before last frost. Plant 24” apart outdoors, making sure the cauliflower has a steady supply of water in full sunlight. This brassica prefers cool temperatures. In many regions it can be grown as both a spring and fall crop.
