Bush bean. This variety is a compact, high-yielding plant that produces exceptionally crisp and juicy pods. This Dutch wax bean bears large 6-8" cream-colored pods with vivid purple mottling that fades when beans are cooked. These pods are stringless and wide. Wonderful to eat fresh, or to save and use as dried beans.
Sow seeds outdoors after danger of frost has passed and soil and air temperatures have warmed. Plant seeds 2” apart in-row, 26-48" between rows, at 1” in depth.
